30.08.09 - So what did YOU do during the holidays?

As seems to be becoming a tradition, we spent a lot of time upgrading, updating and tweaking the website. You can now find a special page for the podcasts, another for what's on in different parts of the world and a brand new selection of videos!

Next week we'll start back on the podcasts and believe me, there's a lot of good music to get through, so we'll see you soon!

28.06.09 - Meanwhile, back @ Mondo Blu Central...

So no news etc., right? As most of you know, I have been working hard on the podcasts this year (now up to episode 20!), meaning that the website has been left waiting most of the time. From now on, library updates will be less frequent but generally larger than before and the competitions will be only in the podcast, so you'll need to start listening if you haven't already. Each one lasts about half an hour and focusses on new music one week, archive stuff one week and free and legal music the other. If you'd like to subscribe and get them automatically, this is the link you'll need:

03.01.09 - Happy New Year everyone!! Despite the apparent lack of news, quite a lot has been happening in Mondo Blu Land, not least that we now have the means to make our own podcasts, the first of which will be coming your way very very soon. (Technical skills need a bit of working on, though!)

So to the new stuff: we're very excited to be adding the first of 3 CDs by a very talented New Age artist from Valencia called Psicodreamics. Look out for him also on the Featured Artists page. Then there are singles from Ireland's Suddyn and Melbourne's finest Skipping Girl Vinegar, plus South Africa's Parlotones, Carlo Coupé, Perry Blake and some classic Jazz from Milt Jackson!

13.11.08 - Early Christmas present wish is more time to keep the website updated! The collected additions for the past couple of weeks are as follows: Al Green, Paul Desmond, Simon & Garfunkel, Black Tie Dynasty, Shaun Barrowes, Gary Paul Bryant, Marya Roxx, Mojave 3, Robert Young & The Big Beat Band, Sigur Rós and a collection of Vintage Country! Finally, congratulations to our winners of the Allen competition, your prizes should have got to you by now. Look out for a new one with Lady Dottie & The Diamonds, very soon!
